You Can Depend on Me (Brenda Lee song)
"You Can Depend on Me" is a song written by Charles Carpenter, Louis Dunlap and Earl "Fatha" Hines and performed by several people including Louis Armstrong (1951), Nat King Cole (1957) and most famously by Brenda Lee (1961). In 1962 it was featured on Lee's album Brenda, That's All.[1] Lee's "You Can Depend on Me" reached #6 on the Billboard Pop Singles chart in 1961.[2] It is not the song of the same name, "(You Can) Depend on Me," recorded by Smokey Robinson and The Miracles in 1959.
